The Cheesecake Factory serves three different sauces with their Thai Lettuce Wraps. Alongside the bright Tamarind Cashew Sauce and Sweet Chili Sauce, this creamy peanut sauce brings a smooth balance and a little richness to every bite.
The combination of the 3 sauces is part of what makes the lettuce wraps so memorable. Each sauce adds a completely different layer of flavor, allowing you to mix and match with their grilled chicken, crisp vegetables, coconut noodles, and crunchy lettuce leaves.

Pro Tips for Perfect Peanut Sauce
Use regular creamy peanut butter.
Traditional creamy peanut butter creates that silky texture we all love about the Cheesecake Factory sauce. I almost always recommend natural peanut butter whenever you can, but for this recipe it can make the sauce thicker or slightly grainy.
Take time to whisk thoroughly.
Peanut butter takes a minute to fully incorporate, so keep whisking until completely smooth.
Adjust the consistency to your liking.
If the sauce is thicker than you’d like, whisk in a teaspoon of warm water at a time until it reaches the perfect dipping consistency.
Magic happens when you let the sauce rest.
Ok, it’s not really magic, but letting your sauce rest for a bit in the refrigerator allows all the flavors to meld together.
Serve at cool room temperature.
If you followed my previous tip and let your sauce rest in the refrigerator, your peanut sauce can become quite firm. Be sure to let it sit out for 10–15 minutes before serving for the best texture.
Storing your Peanut Sauce
You can store this peanut sauce in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 5 days.
You’ll notice that the sauce will naturally thicken as it chills. When you’re ready to serve it, I recommend stirring or whisking in a couple teaspoons of warm water until it returns to your desired consistency.
I do not recommended freezing this Thai Peanut Sauce as the texture can become grainy once you thaw it out..
